i am particularly interested in knowing job functionality in metalink support(oracle)
can anyone let me know the job functionality. (curious
to know if the job is very theorotical, and manual refernce only )
or is it interesting and practical ??
and hopefully not strainous/pressure.
if anyone has feedbacks do revert.

MetaLink/support people are Oracle employees like the other thousands. I think you have more luck here. Would it be theoretical or practical? A bit of both I guess. You have to know the theory (i.e. the manuals) but you also need the wit to put them to practice. You need to have strong communication skills and know how to tackle a problem with minimal input. Would it be stressful? No doubt. When I contact Oracle support I expect a quick reply. That's what my employer is paying for. I'm sure that the Oracle website can give you a little bit more information.
