OK - I have been going through every doc and book I have around here as well as I can't tell how many web searches trying to get an answer to this. In DBA_HIST_SQLSTAT for the IOWAIT_TOTAL, IOWAIT_DELTA and the rest of the wait columns - what is the scale of the value? Is it in seconds, ms, cs? I know that depending on where you are in some of the other performance tables that can change but I have yet to find it documented exactly what the value scale is for the numbers in that view.

That is the documentation that has confused me. While it directly specifies that the elapsed and CPU times are in microsec's there is no scale specified for the other time based values.
You would think there would be some kind of statement like "All times are in x unless otherwise noted". It almost seems that if they specifiy the ones in microseconds that they are an exception to the rest rather the exemplar.
