Hi,

we have a oracle client under win 2000.

we need to connect to the oracle server which is running remote and is not in network.

we have the tns entry in the tnsnames.ora for the specified host.
we have the internet connection from which we are intended to connect.

But its giving ora-12535 : connection timed out error.

How to achieve the goal.

Plz help..

One possibility is that a firewall between the client & the server is blocking the connection.
