Sr. Analyst Oracle Applications Business - CF12788 - San Diego

Position Overview

Provides Oracle Applications techno-functional production support to business users in 6 or more Oracle Applications modules. Such modules may include: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Billing, Project Costing, Property Management, Human Resources, Time and Labor, Advanced Benefits, Purchasing, iProcurement, Self Service and Workflow. Interacts with users to diagnose problems, and to propose, test, and implement solutions. Reviews Oracle Applications functional design and configuration and ensures compliance with corporate policy, SOX regulations, and general best practices. Makes recommendations for improvements in functional design and business process(es) that contribute to more efficient operations and lower operating cost. Reviews and evaluates 3rd party functional design for compliance with standards..Identifies functional design issues and recommends remediation. Consults with and translates User defined Business Requirements into functional specifications. Acts as a liason between Business and IT departments by understanding and translating Business and IT terminology and communicating with various groups using both complex written and verbal communication skills. Prepares BR100, BR30 and other project documentation associated with the Cricket SDLC and/or Oracle AIM methodology. Facilitates System Integration and User Acceptance testing. Partners with the Business to ensure that testing scenarious and test scripts are thorough, accurate, and well-maintained as the environment changes. Primary production Oracle Applications System Adminstrator. Registers executables, forms and printers. Creates Menus and Responsibilities. Maintains System Profiles and other site level configurable controls using proper SDLC and Change Control procedures as required. Uses knowledge of advanced reporting tools such as Oracle Report Builder, Oracle Discovererer and Business Objects to design and develop reports based on user needs. Performs System Administration of the reporting environments as required. Uses query and analysis tools such as Toad or SQL Navigator to develop custom queries to analyze problems. May use SQL skills to update data as part of troubleshooting or issue resolution.

Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree (preferably in Computer Science). Master’s degree in Computer Science or I.T. Management. Wireless industry experience preferred. 6+ years Oracle Apps Experience with working knowledge in Oracle modules. 8+ years Oracle Apps Experience with working knowledge in Oracle modules, preferred.
