What are the requirements for mod_plsql?. How one can install that?

it probably depends a lot on what version you are running. It is a standard part of the installation of 8i and 9i. Try looking under something like:
$ORACLE_HOME/Apache/modplsql

if the version is 10g, the Oracle HTTP Server is part of the companion products install.

hi
I have oracle database 10g installed on my system. In Oracle home , i could not see apache folder. I wanna run web applications . So i wanna configure DAD. Can anybody suggest me how to do that.

Here's the path to it on my windows box. We develop there and run on UNIX. I recall the UNIX path being similar. Look for the http directory or do a search to find the Apache folder.

C:\oracle\product\10.1.0\http\Apache\modplsql

I am not clear on whether you can install mod_plsql on a pre-existing Apache setup not from Oracle. I might be able to get the sysadmins to install mod_plsql but I doubt they will replace the existing Apache servers with Oracle's.
How different are the standard Apache and Oracle's? Can you just add some of the components from Oracle's to an existing non-Oracle Apache?

It's very likely that Oracle's OHS uses a significantly older Apache than the latest version. You can install MOD_PLSQL separately, but Oracle wouldn't support it. I'd much rather keep Oracle's OHS in a separate location from a second Apache on the same machine - it is pretty lightweight s/w. Of course you'd need separate ports for the 2 Apaches...
