Please tell me whether V$filestat will provide me the I/O information if the below given scenario comes into the picture...

Scenario:

Suppose I am firing a query to get the table information
(eg. EMP table), but the table data is not present in the SGA(buffer cache) but it is founded in the RAM Memory of O/S part as a page.

what happen in this situation?

will V$filestat show the entry in the column of PHYRD for this I/O Operation as the actual I/O is not performed at the O/S level ?

Thanks & Rgds.
