Character mode Report printing is very slow in Dot Matrix Printer [message #182608]

I made a character mode report in Report 6i and calling from forms 6i.
As If I am running my report using Windows 2000 OS , the report printing on dot matrix is very slow and IF i run report using Win98 OS then my report printing is very fast having the same application used by different-2 users from diff-2 machines.
But the problem in printing from WIN 98 OS is , Printer is skipping 1 extra page after printing.
I am unable to track why it is happening and where actually the problem is?
If possible then plz help me?

i think your printer is not seting in the Windows 2000 os (NT Version)
Kindly Set the printer Seting as bellow
go the the property of printer (which u have installed in your OS)
go to advance option in the property and set the "Printing Directoly to Printer"
then your report will be fast.
Try is.

Hi Harpreet
I did as U suggest but of no avail, even though the printer is working with the same speed,even though I cheked all parameters given in printer through win98 OS are samewith Win 2000 OS.
