Hi Guys.

We have a database of which users accesses via a website to pull different kinds of reports and these reports takes a long time to come up,sometimes the website times out,is there anything that can be done from the Db's point of view to make sure that users get reports quickly or are there any other suggestions. And is there any recommended java_pool_size.The Db is 8i running on linux.

Thank you

There is a lot that can be done. However, there is no magic "go_faster=true" parameter. I suggest you start with the Oracle Performance Tuning Guide.
