Dear Mr. Liju

Pls find my details below.
1. Full Name : Pramod Nambiar
2. Basic Qualification : Post Graduate in Computer Applications
3. Work Experience : 8 yrs
4. Contact No( With std code) : 00973 39312932
5. E_Mail ID : swamikal@yahoo.com
6. Present Address : Post Box No 55040, Bahrain.
7. Course Preffered (Optional) : Oracle 10g DBA.

I got more than 8 years of expereince in various areas of IT, presently working in Middle East. I was a Programmer for 3 years in Oracle and Developer 6i. Later on I was put into System and application Administration side, say Windows, Linux, Network, SQL server and Oracle based Applications and Basic Oracle DBA functions (on an entry level).
Im OCA(9i), MCSE 2000.

Now Im planning to come back fullfledged into Oracle DBA. In August I have my vacation, so planning to update my skills during that time. Im from Kerala, so I prefer to do it in Bangalore. But in Oracle's training schedule there is no Oracle Database 10g workshop-1 in August at Bangalore. So my questions are

1. Can I do workshop 2 which is scheduled on 27th Aug at Bangalore (Im already OCA 9i) by skipping workshop 1?
2. Can I continue my certification in Oracle 10g or I have to complete 9i and migrate? Or by having participation in one Course I can do both the certification papers for 10g?
3. THe discount in the Exam fee is only for course attendees and can I appear the exam here in Bahrain if I pay it in India?
4. Is there any spl. offers (dicsounts) in course fee now?

So please advice me on all these above mentioned points.

Thanks in Advance
Pramod
