Can anyone offer me some advice. I am using reports 6i (Yeah it's out dated but the company won't upgrade). What I would like to do is access another fields value from a second objects format trigger. Is this possible? How is this achieved?

Thanks

You can use the :field notation. I have posted an example yesterday that does exactly that.

Look a few topics down.

[edit]I can understand why they refuse to upgrade: it is the last client/server version. I've recently programmed in Developer suite 6i because the Forms were used on the production floor (to actually controled the machines). As of Forms 9i, there's only a web interface. Not a desirable situation there.
