Hi,
I have oracle installed on solaris machine .Oracle tnslsnr AF_Unix socket is not cleaned up after the listener is shutdown. This will cause too many orphaned named pipes e.g s#1108.1.Please tell me how to delete these pipes after stopping the listener. Please tell me which file to edit or else suggest a command using which I can find the orphaned pipes in a list of pipes. Thanks in advance.

With Regards
Nshetty

Reboot the system will certainly do it.
Can you identify and kill -9 the listener processes that will not shutdown?
