Hi all,

I am getting database buffer cache hit ratio 15 to 20 % only. how can i increase it. I have increased the size but no benifit.

POOL Name Size in MB
Java pool 16
Large pool 16
Shared pool 448
Buffer Cache 3600
Log Buffer 3
Fixed Sga 1.25
--------------------------------------
Total SGA Size 4084.25 M.B.
---------------------------------------
Total Database Size is 150 GB

SGA CACHE STATISTICS

SQL Cache Hit rate = 99.93
Dict Cache Hit rate = 98.99
Buffer Cache Hit rate = 17.08
Redo Log space requests = 1879
