Hi,

Can you please explain what is meant by oracle xa support? yes I am also going through the documentation at :

http://www.lc.leidenuniv.nl/awcourse/oracle/appdev.920/a96590/adga1_xa.htm

My question is:

1) What is involved in providing oracle xa support?
2) Does the dba have to run some extra script/or do some configuration to provide xa support?

for example are the following scripts required to be run?

$ORACLE_HOME/javavm/install/initjvm.sql

$ORACLE_HOME/javavm/install/initxa.sql

With thanks,
Nirav
