this pertains to oracle9i .

the total shared pool alloted is 200MB.

the gethitratio for INDEXES is showing 58% . Other hitratios are above 90%
any reasons for the same.

whats the resolution ??

No hard limit here. It is just a hit ratio.
Hit ratio's cannot be considered as a measure of performance.
Yes, they do indicate something. But it is not a measure with which one can qualify whether something is good or bad.
Infact you can programmatically bring any hit ratio's you want.

In this particular case, Just by looking at library cache hit ratio, you cannot derive
anything. It may be because of poorly written sql statements( not sharable). May your
applications are not using enough bind variables.
