Hi,

I'm very new to Oracle.

There are 2 Oracle 10g express database in my office. One of them is running on a Windows 2003 server and the other on a Linux machine.

I was tasked to mirgrate/move a user owned database from Windows machine to Linux machine.

I managed to use empdp/impdp to duplicate the user's database to the Linux machine. However I can't find a way to export/import Oracle users.

Any idea?

Thanks
Jack

Hai,
export the user from Windows 2003 server and try to import the same dump into the Unix machine.
Ibelieve This will work,

Please Mail the feedback as this can be a lesson to me also
