Hi

I have a personal oracle 9 install which gives an ora 12560 from our application when not connected to the network

TNSNAMES uses 127.0.0.1
SQLNET.ora has been commented out

Any ideas

Hi,

Check addresses used for proper protocol specification. Before reporting this error, look at the error stack and check for lower level transport errors. For further details, turn on tracing and reexecute the operation. Turn off tracing when the operation is complete.

Hi

I just installed 10.2.0. the connection test works fine. and tnsping OK but when I connect db from sql plus or prompt command. I got ora-12560.

any idea?
