I want to do incomplete recovery,
and i want to use command :
RECOVER DATABASE UNTIL SCN [SCN number]

but i am confused where can i get the SCN numbers so that i can decide uptill what SCN i should recover.
I want to recover only thru SCN Number.

plz help.

select file#,checkpoint_change# from v$datafile;

Hi,

In Oracle 9i onwards to know the current scn

select  dbms_flashback.get_system_CHANGE_NUMBER from dual;
