i try to start listener from remote system ..but i got following error..

LSNRCTL> start listener
Starting tnslsnr:

please wait...

Failed to start service, error 2.
TNS-12536: TNS:operation would block
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00506: Operation would block
32-bit Windows Error: 997: Unknown error

how can i solve this pbm ????

Are you unwilling or incapable of using GOOGLE?

On Solaris with the environmentals set:
lsnrctl start
