Hello,
I'm researching the ASM filesystem, trying to figure out as much as possible concerning it. I'm done with the documentation and most of the contents of www.oracle.com/technology/asm, but haven't found much. Most of the documents are task-oriented, briefing what asm is shortly. I know what was there to read about different striping and mirroring options, the pointers used for tracking extents and the fact that it's not a 'fully operational' filesystem. I was hoping to learn more details, like how does it handle sectors/clusters, how does it create the extent map and such.

Any hints where I could find that sort of info?
Thanks!
