Hi,

I am using an Oracle 9i database and I would like to know the list of users connected and number of connections open.

Is there a way to perform an SQL query to check this?

Thanks,

Mh

You have all information in v$session.
For the other BG process involved, join v$session with v$process.

Edit:
Are you looking for something like this?

oracle@mutation#dbwho widw
