How to calculate number of rows per DB block?
Ex:

db block size=8192
row length(number of bytes that row occupies) = 40

is it 8192/40?

Thanks in advance.

Roughly speaking,
(8192 - PCTFREE)/40

Thanks for your reply.
You said, 'Roughly speaking' , means is there any other way to calculate this?
how to calculate the rowlength?
Is there any SQL to be used or we can manually calculate the number of bytes occupied by each row?
