Hi
could any body clarify this issue.
i am extending table database size by adding dbf files where some other database has a view of this table then is it necessary to extend the view also.
please advice.

well
i have a table tab1 in database SDP.and a view of tab1 in other database SDP2.
now i am extending table size by adding some dbf files in SDP.
my question is
will the SDP2 database also needs extension as per the new size of tab1 on SDP.

Well! No you don't need because a view is just a SQL query stored inside Oracle that is referencing to the original table.
