After generating table API and insert data get trigger failure on first insert [message #159967]

Hi,

I've noticed with Designer that after generating table API, the first insert into certain tables results in a trigger failure of some strange kind. Insert again and it's ok. The problem is that I'm developing an application to be deployed to customers via scripts and can't afford to have this kind of trigger failure occurring as it will mess up the data. It doesn't help that it appears to be inconsistent. This was happening with Oracle 9i, and now I'm using 10g.

Can anyone tell me what's going on with this, and how I can ensure my customers don't receive this particular type of problem? I have to make deployment automatic, especially as they may not have detailed oracle knowledge.
