Hi,
I recently installed DB10g Rel2 on my computer laptop in VMware workstation under winxp pro. sp2
and installed developer 10g on laptop .
1- The VMware workstation name is vm.
2- The laptop name is laptop
3- When i start VMware workstation and open the SQL Plus is working.
4- When i start the developer 10g and connect to batabase sometimes it gives me ORA-12545 and ORA- 12535.
ORA-12545 :connect failed becouse target host or object does not exist.
ORA-12535 :TNS :operation timed out.
the hostname is (HOST = vm) in all tnsname.ora in DB10g in vmware workstation and Dev10g in laptop.
Could anybody tell my how to connect Dev10g with DB10g in vmware workstation?
