I have a database. I put my database by command following:
SQL> CONNECT sys AS SYSDBA
SQL> STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSEVE;
SQL> ALTER DATABASE ARCHIVELOG;
SQL> ARCHIVE LOG START;
SQL> ALTER DATABASE OPEN;

When I run command STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSEVE;. I get a error.
SQL> STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSEVE;
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

Can anybody tell me what is error?

just correct the spelling.
it is "startup mount exclusive."
though u can give "startup mount" on windows and do the task.
