Good day. I've installed Oracle 8.1.7.4.0 + Oracle Applications 11.5.8 (platform is Sun Solaris), and I have some calculations troubles like that: 100>109, 400>430 etc (select 1 From Dual Where 100>109 returns 1). How should I solve this problem? I supppose, that it's possible to uprgade database up to version 9i using suitable Patch, but what is the the most correct solution ?

copy and paste from sqlplus an example please, so we can see what you did.
