Hi,
Consider this scenario, I have cold backup taken at 12.00 in the night and in the morning I add a datafile to a tablespace, extend segments etc and after some time, I accidentally deleted the tablespace including contents. How can I recover the tablespace with the changes made after the backup.

HI,
That depends on whehter you are operating on archivelog mode or in noarchivelog mode...If you are in the first mode, then you can, else you can not.
