Hello!

On my PC (XP Sp1) are two Oracle Developer Suites installed. One
for 9i and the other 10g.
I'm testing my Forms Modules on a lokal "test environment", using
OC4J and calling the the Form through a link in Internet Explorer.
Like that: http://mymachine:8888/forms90/f90servlet?config=.....

If I switch the Oracle Home with the Home Selector to 9i and
start the OC4j for 9i everything works fine.
Switching to 10g, with OC4j for 10g, nothing happens. IE only
tells me "page not found".
Finally I tried to use the OC4J for 9i and the Java Applet
starts, but a problem tells me "web client too old".

I'm not sure if the Home selector works correct.
Where can I see in the registry which is the active Oracle Home?

In the Registry under Oracle - Oracle Home, always the value
Oracle9i is shown, even if 10g is selected. Is that correct?

Thanks for your help

Hi,
I use Oracle Locator Express to avoid these kind of problems with the Oracle Home Selector. Free utility at www.dbmotive.com.

Regards,

Kees
