We are now facing this problem for quite some time and not really getting any encouraging answers. Except that this problem does not occur on Windows.
We're trying to use standard EBS printouts to be opened and printed as Adobe PDF file.
All standard reports work fine when printing in character mode. However, in case I change the concurrent program output from TXT to PDF, the special characters disappear.
I am talking about eastern European characters like čćžšđž ČĆŽŠĐ. I only get ? (question marks) instead of proper character.
It is the same, for example, for Purchase Order printout (PO for Communication), that is by default created as PDF.
I am sure there must be a solution for this. Please, let me know if you have any experience in this field. I am sure someone has already solved this problem.
You can check how the output PDF looks like (http://freeweb.siol.net/abrglez1/PP_Nar_Dob_FNDWRR.rar )
Thanks, regards,
Simon
