I just restored all my datafiles and archived log files. I'm doing an incomplete database recovery. I just ran "restore database" and now running "recover database until...". How long should this process run and is there a way I can check if RMAN is doing anything? Is there a way I can improve the performance? Thanks.

There is a lot to consider , depedning on your OS/oracle version/ your backupmethod/RMAN configuration /Media/ Hardware.
