Hi everyone!,
I'm having a serious performance problems with a client-server application (VB 6/.net with Oracle DB 8i).
The problem is simple, the server is in another country, and the connection of the client is slow.
The idea is also simple, reduce the amount of "trips" between the server and the client using "batch" insertions/selection, etc...
Any ideas?
By the way, I'm not Visual Basic programmer.
