Windows Server 2003 sp1, 512ram, oracle 9i software w/database (that comes with the 3 cds). Freezes up on me. It froze while installing the software, not creating the database(FYI). Any suggestion? How long does it take to install? please help. I waited over 2 hours and still stuck at 45%

Have you checked the installation log file in the ..\oraInventory\logs directory?

Best regards.

I checked my log file and i got an ERR file. "java.io.IOException: Unable to create one of the directories in the path C:\oracle\ora92\inventory\Queries21\areasQueries\2.2.0.7.0.
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiip.oiipg.OiipgFileSystem.mkdirs(OiipgFileSystem.java:1173)
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiix.OiixFileOps.copyFile(OiixFileOps.java:280)
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiix.OiixFileOps.copyFile(OiixFileOps.java:225)
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiix.OiixFileOps.copyFile(OiixFileOps.java:325)" this is only some of the info from the beginning. What do i do? how do i correct this? Every time i'm trying to install enterprise manger website 9.2.0.1.0. it says "copying oem_webstage_1_nt.jar". please help.

Check your file permissions. Can you to create directories under C:\oracle\ora92\inventory\Queries21\areasQueries\2.2.0.7 yourself?

Best regards.
