Gurus,

We have 3 HPUX unix boxes/hosts (SAN) - each box has few 10g databases. we would like to have a manual failover process of the oracle databases at a high level - how can we make all LUNS visible to all 3 hosts without destroying consistency of how ASM has those mapped.

The concern for us - the LUNs that are relevant to the primary database on each host are only visible on that host, meaning that if we present all LUNs to all hosts, we might 1). get a naming mismatch between the devices that ASM is aware of and consequently 2). currupt data

anybody woked on these type of failovers, please advise,

Thanks,
