hello , i have a windows xp professional (sp2)system which is having oracle 9i enterprise edition rel(3) , when windows firewall is enabled , clients are not able to connect , if its is turned off clients are able to connect , i tried by giving exception for 1521 port , but no use , plz help me

set USE_SHARED_SOCKET=TRUE in registry and reboot.

ERROR:
ORA-12535:TNS:Operation timed out
i am getting , if i turned off the firewall , i am able to get connect ....
