Have you got your 9iDS (Developer Server) working? Can you run the 'test' form (supplied by Oracle)? Can you run the 'test' report?

Also look at http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/51779/67467/

1) Go to 'start', 'programs', 'Oracle Forms 9i', 'Run a Form on the Web'. Does it exist?
2) Does it start?
3) Do you have your OC4J session running?
4) Do you have Oracle 6i Forms on your PC?

I have added numbers to my previous post. Please answer each of the questions.

The address will be something like http://mymachineid:8888/forms90/f90servlet?config=myapp where myapp has been defined in <oracle_home>\forms90\server\formsweb.cfg

No you should be able to run reports using the 9iDS. Are you running windows XP SP2 on your machine? If yes, then search this forum for 'SP2' and follow the instructions for changing the 'permissions' that were introduced with XP SP2.

There are MANY threads in this forum about passing information using parameters. Some of them are currently active so you won't have to look too far.

Sorry, I don't have 9i on my PC.

Go to http://www.oracle.com/forms/10g/help/. Use the search facility to look for 'pl_id'. Look at the examples under call_form, add_parameter, create_parameter_list, and delete_parameter_list. Alternatively, go to the 6i Forms reference and search it for pl_id. Teehre are numerous examples.
