I am patching 9.2.0.1 I ran the OUI interactively and put the patchset for 9.2.0.6 in the wrong place. I find the OUI screens confusing. When asked for the ORACLE HOME I attempted to put in /local/oracle/app/oracle/92 (our Home) but was unable to do so. Can someone please help me. Thanks.

Hi,
Don't panic!!!!

If you attempt to install the patch set in an Oracle home directory that does not contain an Oracle9i installation, the Installer displays a warning dialog with the following error:
There are no patches that need to be applied from the
patchset Oracle9i patch set 9.2.0.6.0

The Oracle Universal Installer does not allow the installation to proceed. Click OK, then click Cancel to end the installation.
......... After this, u need to restart the entire procedure

remember this time to set the DISPLAY correctly, also ORACLE_HOME
