Can anyone tell me what is the difference between Interfacing in Oracle Apps and Data Migration

Migrating means permanently moving the data to the Oracle Apps System/ Database.

Interfacing means that you will fetch the data required on demand, but leave the original data in place.

Thanks for the reply Frank,

I wanted more clarification , as far as the process is concerned apart from the fact that in one the data still stays back , I'm still confused about the details of the two process.Does Interfacing involve migration and what are the intricacies in both.
