Hello,

I use Windows XP.
The PATH system variable seems to be limited to 1024 characters.

Is there a way to bypass this limitation ??

What are you trying to do that requires more than 1024 characters in a system variable? **curious**

I got oracle forms 6i, forms9i, Oracle Application Server, oracle database 9i and would like to install alos a oracle database 10g.
Each oracle products has its own java version and binaries. The path to this specifiec bin directory and the specific java directory is added to the Windows PATH system variable, and suddenly the limitation of 1024 characters is reached
