What is difference between 6i and 9i regarding internet based capability.

Have a look at http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B12166_01/web/B10469_01/whymigr.htm#1008740 - it describes the 6i features that are not supplorted by 9i.

For me, 9i using AS was just so much easier than 6i using IAS.

Development environment uses Developer Server (OC4J) instead of listeners. Both have/had issues of configuration.

One is ancient technology, the other is old technology.
