Hi

I ve a peoplesoft application .When I update info in peoplesoft, I want the info to be automatically updated in ldap.
Can i use sql query to udpate in ldap? what should i do to make this happen ?

HI

Cant say about SQL, but yes you can definitely update ldap using PERL programs. Use net:ldap utility in perl for updating your ldap entries. Do put this perl program in sync with your application & then test out.

hello

Oracle provides DBMS procedure that can read and write to LDAP compliant servers. Such package is called DBMS_LDAP.
You can create your own pl/sql program and utilize the procedures to manipulate your LDAP server and then can use your pl/sql within you SQL . I have done this successfully several times and it works beautifully
