I need to upload a pdf file into the database through oracle forms 9i.Can u guide me to do the above mentioned process.

Get the webutil extension from the Oracle website. Search google for 'web_util' and 'webutil'.

Try these sites http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/WebUtilFAQ.htm and this article http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/web_util.pdf. Use it to enable reading a file from your PC and then store it in your Oracle database as per any other file. Review BLOB and LONG RAW for the data type in which to store it. Alternatively, use Oracle's File Server capabilities.
