Hi,
I have a problem with data export from Designer Repository (Rep. Object
Navigator). Error message indicates that Designer (before running exp
utility) tries to set OPTIMIZER_GOAL parameter (alter session) which is
obsolete.
I tried it on two databases: first one upgraded from 8.1.7 to 10.1.0.2
(with installed Oracle Repository 4.0.12.94.24), second created on 10g
server with new Oracle Repository (also 4.0.12.94.24 version). So I
think problem is in Designer (database parameter OPTIMIZER_MODE was set
to ALL_ROWS).
I use Designer v.9.0.4.3.14 from Developer Suite 10g.
Help please!

Frank Naude wrote on Mon, 20 June 2005 08:59 | Hi,
Your version of Designer doesn't support Oracle 10g databases yet. You need to upgrade to at least version 9.0.4.5 of the Oracle Designer/Repository.
For more info, see Metalink Note 60705.1: Oracle Designer & SCM Compatibility Matrix.

Thanks. I use Designer for academical purposes and don't have Metalink account, so I'm going to download latest available version.
