We have an Oracle 8.1.7 DB that runs on Windows and we will soon move to 10g, but in the meantime we run most of our website through the old OAS and now on this Oracle HTTP server v.9.0.4 and it isn't the full-blown Oracle AS.
Every so often we get a slowdown in serving up the web pages and it will not restart via the opmnctl command until some httpd processes are killed explicitly on the server (it runs on Linux).
Any idea why this might happen ?
Appreciate the help,
Mike.
