First, try the reports forum.

Second, what environment are you running? Windows - Unix? 4.5, 6, 9, 10g???

Please help us to help you.

The 'reports' forum is the forum listed below the 'forms' forum in the list of forums.

I'm sorry 'getRuntime' is not a process with which I am familiar. There may be a Java forum in which to ask your question.

Or just google it.

Okay ... if you want to write to a file, is there any reason why you don't write it from your form?

This looks like you are running Client/Server. Is the server a windows box and does it have the 'e:' drive to which your command line refers.

Also, what is 'DESFORMAT=ascills', shouldn't it be 'DESFORMAT=asci'?

Hi,
I have encountered this problem before. This is how I solved it.
First go to the Report Object Navigator. Change the system parameters like DATA MODEL ----> System Parameters ----> orientation ---> Landscape . Mode is default.destype is default,
printjob is yes,destype is preview.
Hope this helps.

Have you applied any patchsets to your Application recently?

If so, try bouncing the concurrent manager and restarting. I had this problem this week also.
