I think it should be A,D,E only.

DBSNMP is used for connecting by Oracle Intelligent Agent.

SYSMAN is not an oracle user. Its the user authorised to login into Oracle Enterprise Manager Console, when connecting to Oracle Management Server.

Maaher, am I not right in saying this? Actually your reply made me think twice over this and frankly I couldn't find SYSMAN user in my database.

Right answer: A,D,E.

Below is list of all users created by default by oracle:
On basis of this list we can safely remove the choices: C: WKSYS & F: SYSMAN.

SYS/SYSTEM are obvious choices.
Now choice has to be done between MDSYS & DBSNMP.
From description below for this user DBSNMP:
DBSNMP/DBSNMP
used by: Oracle Intelligent agent
Created by: ?/rdbms/admin/catsnmp.sql, called from catalog.sql
Can password be changed: Yes - put the new password in snmp_rw.ora file
Can user be dropped: YES - Only if you do not use the Intelligent Agents

and for user MDSYS:
MDSYS/MDSYS
Oracle Spatial administrator user
Created by: ?/ord/admin/ordinst.sql

and the fact that MDSYS is locked by default and thus can't be used for login. The only choice left is dbsnmp.

List of all users on database:

SYS/CHANGE_ON_INSTALL or INTERNAL

I was in serious doubt myself, but it was your text "SYSMAN is not an oracle user. Its the user authorised to login into Oracle Enterprise Manager Console..." that made me imagine some sort of ghost-user. No hard feelings Wink

Go to http://tahiti.oracle.com, select 10g and search for "SYSMAN".

this is from the Oracle Database Administrator's Guide
10g Release 1 (10.1):

Quote:

A newly created database has at least three user accounts that are important for administering your database: SYS, SYSTEM, and SYSMAN.

Note that we're talking 10g here. I don't know about 9i (We're running 9iR2 here and I don't seem to find this user either).
