Hi
I am having a text box in my canvas, during run time in the WHEN NEW ITEM INSTANCE TRIGGER, i am making the updatable property false.

The menu attched to the form is the standard forms menu no user defined menu.

The text item is a non-database item and the block is also a non-database block.

when i place the cursor and press CTL+C for copying it copied the contents and pasted in the notepad.

But when i attach a userdefined menu to the form and try to do CTL+C, i am getting the error of
"FRM-402000 Field is protected against update" .

Can anybody tell me, by changing the menu from default to custom menu, Why i am getting the error.

thanx in advance...!!!

Check if the insert property is made false.

Sounds like Ctl+C is mapped as a "Keyboard Accelerator" in one of the menu items in your custom menu.
