Hello ,

I using vb application to connect oracle db via odbc. Sometimes
it 's work but other times it raises the error "-2147467259 : Oracle error occurred ,
but error message could not be retrived form oracle" .
I tried to install new mdac (2. Cool

and reinstall oracle client but it 's still error.
However i tried to test connect via odbc testing and sqlplus it's work !!!

The example syntax as the following :

Provider=MSDAORA.1;User ID=system;Password=manager;
Data Source=database;Persist Security Info=False

os client : windows 2000 pro
oracle client : oracle 8.1.7

os server : sun solaris
db server : oracle 8.1.7

Any suggestion ?
