We have just installed Oracle 10G and run into a new imposed limit of 2000 passed parameters when using PL/SQL. This limit did not exist in 9i. My question is how to override this new limit or extend it. I understand that the parameter that should be extended is called PlsqlMaxParameters and it is or should be located in the plsql.conf file. We have tried several times to add it in with no success. Any ideas.

Thanks

Hi,

I cannot find any reference to the "PlsqlMaxParameters" parameter in the current documentation (Chapter 7 of the Oracle10g HTTP Server Administrator's Guide).

The only hit on Metalink is Note 280011.1 (Mod_plsql Http-400 Too Many Arguments). However, this covers a similar problem with 9i, not 10g!

Maybe you should log a TAR with Oracle Support and ask them for a fix or workaround.

Best regards.

Frank

Have you restarted the HTTP server?
