We currently use the DBMS_PIPE mechanism to send data from ORACLE to our CICS system and then receive data back. We'd like to replace this with Advanced Queuing. Does anyone have experience of doing this under OS/390?
Since this is a relatively new feature has anyone hit any nastly bugs in this area. Also, is it as efficient on CPU as DBMS_PIPES (we'd like to use temporary queues).
