Is there anyone out there have Oracle8i release
8.1.7 for OS/390 (not Z/OS) running on the
the Z/900 hardware. I seem to be having persistent
problem with invoking SQL*PLUS for USS client software.
I receive the following error messages when calling
for SQL*PLUS in USS:
OS/390 RTF1 09.00 02 2064
NSDCDLS:/u/nsdcdls: >sqlplus
ERROR:
ORA-00000: normal, successful completion
NSDCDLS:/u/nsdcdls: >
As you can see it returns a cond code 0000 but put
me back into the USS prompt instead of prompting me
for an Oracle username and password. I have been working with IBM and Oracle tech support
for several months now and we have not been able
pin point the cause of this problem.
